is honored to be performing at SUMMERFUN, where he first appeared in 1973 in such shows as Equus Otherwise Engaged, and Absurd Person Singular and mom recently in 1993 in Love Letters. Credits for Mr. Parlato over a 22‑year career include, on Broadway, A Chorus Line, Chess, She Love Me, and Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music, and numerous OffBroadway appearances, most notably the title role in J.B. The Lark, Rasputin, David Hare's The Knife, Stephen Sondheim's Putting It Together, and the title role in Nikos Kazantsakis' Christopher Columbus, directed by Lloyd Richards. Regional roles include the title role in Cyrano de Bergerac, Prospero in The Tempest, Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Frank in Educating Rita, Uncle Peck in How I Learned to Drive, and Dr. Chapman in A Question of Money. On television, Mr. Parlato has appeared on Law and Order, Beverly Hills 90210, Loving, One Life to Live, and Guiding Light. Films include Eddie Muller's Dillinger's Dead, Tom DiCillo's Johnny Suede, and Greg DeFelice's upcoming Bury the Evidence.
