directed productions of Full Gallop at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, the Manhattan Theatre Club, and Off-Broadway's Westside Arts Theatre and will be directing the upcoming tour. He most recently directed Martin Sherman's A Madhouse in Goa at the Second Stage Theatre and The Mask of Moriarty by Hugh Leonard at the Old Globe. Prior to that, he directed Albert Innaurato's Dreading Thekla and Sidney Kingsley's Dead End at last summer's Williamstown Theatre Festival, Springtime For Henry at the Studio Arena Theatre in Buffalo, The Rehearsal at the Roundabout Theatre, Macbeth at the Old Globe, and The Royal Family at the 1996 Williamstown Theatre Festival. He directed productions of A. R. Gurney's Overtime at the Old Globe and the Manhattan Theatre Club, the World Premiere of Ron Nyswaner's Oblivion Postponed at the Bay Street Theatre Festival in Sag Harbor, NY, and its subsequent production at the Second Stage Theatre. Other credits include A. R. Gurney 's Later Life at the Old Globe, the Studio Arena Theatre, and the Geva Theatre in Rochester; two Jon Robin Baitz plays, It Changes Every Year for Malaparte and The Substance of Fire at Westport Country Playhouse; and Jonathan Marc Sherman's Sophistry for the New Theater Wing, which transferred to a full production at Playwrights Horizons, where he was the Associate Artistic Director. He has taught at the North Carolina School of the Arts, HB Studios, and is on the guest faculty of Bennington College.
