Having created the role of Poole, Jekyll’s manservant in Broadway’s Jekyll & Hyde, Donald shuffled off to Buffalo as Larkin, the defrocked priest, in Studio Arena’s production of Golf With Alan Shepard. Returning to the theatre after 30 years’ absence, he has played, among others, Arvide in the National Company of Guys and Dolls, Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Mushnik in Tennessee Rep’s production of Little Shop of Horrors, and Binkie in Let’s Do It at the Long Wharf. Veteran of ten Broadway shows, he debuted his cabaret act at B. Smith’s several months ago.
