Fran Walker Biography

Fran Walker
s

One of the area's leading participants on the community theatre circuit, Fran has been involved with a number of stage organizations since 1971. In 1976, she was cast as Defense Attorney Stevens in the Somerset Valley Players courtroom drama, "The Night of January 16th" performed at the Somerset County Courthouse. Twenty-one years later (1997), she found herself back in this courtroom to perform in last season's production of "The Hall-Mills Murder Trial" as - you guessed it - Ethel Stevens. Tonight, the role of Mrs. Dickson breaks her "Stevens" role streak! Fran can also be seen as Mildred Sloan in the Hunterdon Hills ("Lunch & Laughter") production of "Squabbles" at the Somerville Elks Club.
