I am looking to fill two final slots for paid theatrical technicians to round out my summer theatre staff. Pay is $8/per hour to start. Flexible schedules (with exception of tech and performance weeks) Will teach/train right person. Work begins early may, ends late august. EOE. Age 16 & up.
Duties include but not limited to:
-set construction
-base painting for scenic artist
-general theatre maintenence
-hang and focus of lighting
-help with sound applications
-running of either light board, sound board, or follow-spot during performances
-show presets/end of show strike
-theatre improvement projects, etc.
Monmouth County Park System will present two mainstage musicals (...Forum and Pippin) and two professional young audience productions. Applicants must be available for full runs and tech weeks of the shows. Please contact technical director to apply.
